* Pre-travel consultation services and most vaccines are not covered by the provincial Medical Services Plan (MSP). Please check with the Shelbourne Travel & Preventive Health Clinic to determine which, if any, of the vaccines that you require are covered by MSP. Patients are required to pay for pre-travel consultation services and vaccines via cash, debit card, VISA or Mastercard. Some private health insurers will cover the costs of pre-travel consultation services and vaccines as part of extended health insurance. Patients with extended health insurance should contact their insurers to determine which services may be covered and what documentation will be required for reimbursement.

** If it is determined that a patient needs to have a two-step baseline tuberculin skin test performed, the patient will only be required to pay for the first test in the two-step skin testing procedure. The need for a two-step baseline tuberculin skin test will be explained to the patient in detail by the physician at the Shelbourne Travel & Preventive Health Clinic.

*** Pre-travel consultation fee is a one-time charge for all visits to the clinic that are associated with the same trip. Reduced rates for groups of two or more apply when all group members are counseled at the same time.
